The building housing The Old Post and Worden’s Market, located on the corner of Higgins and Spruce Street, were placed on the real estate market in May for the asking price of $3.9 million.

They are listed by Jesse Eagen of Eagen Real Estate. Both properties are owned by Tim France, who has owned and operated Worden’s since 1981.

The old Firestone tire shop building at 139 E. Main St. in downtown Missoula will most likely soon be transformed into a four-story, 27-unit high-end condominium building with 10,000-square-feet of ground-floor retail space, underground parking and rooftop terraces. It will be called the “Firestone Flats.”

In mid-April, owner Peter McCay and Jessie Eagen of Eagen Real Estate announced plans by local developers to replace the Firestone with a four-story, 27-unit condominium and retail building called Firestone Flats. Eagen said structural engineers have determined the building won’t support three more floors so it will be torn down.
